A round-robin format using cases from the current set, with questions announced on the day. Scores stay private during the event; results are emailed afterward.

Eligibility
Open to middle-years students (roughly Years 7–9 in Australia, or the local equivalent).
Schools can enter one or two teams of up to five students each.
Training days
Optional full-day training clinics run in August in the lead-up to the Olympiads, using the same case set.
Awards
Every participant receives a certificate. Gold, silver and bronze medals go to the top three schools in regions with five or more teams.
